What Is Replication Of CD And DVD?

CD/DVD replication is a very convenient process where bulk CD’s can be created according to any size and specifications.

The process of CD replication is being taken place on a large scale in audio/video industries today because of the need of mass production of CD’s. This process is a very sophisticated and a scientific process, which can only be achieved with the help of large-scale machines. The process of CD duplication is quite similar to that of a burning a CD/DVD on your laptop or personal computer with the help of a simple CD duplication OR CD writing feature.

The process involves simple extraction of the data from the original disc and then writes it or copies it to a blank disc. This process takes few minutes and can be undertaken on any PC, which has CD writer hardware installed on it. There is a vast amount of difference between burning multiple CD/DVDs at a replication facility in an audio factory and burning or duplicating one CD on your computer desktop.

CD/DVD replicates are created in an audio/video CD factory during the manufacturing process. In simple terminology, objects like replicated CD/DVDs do not exist before the process of replication starts. A lot of precautions are followed before starting the process of DVD replication and before the process gets underway, the master CD is carefully evaluated for any kind of virus contamination or data corruption.

Firstly, a glass master CD or a simple glass replica containing the relevant data from the original master CD is created. The process of Replication begins when a completely faultless glass master is entirely created. The glass master CD is then used to develop a copier or a stamper. The stamper or the imitation after the initial step is then put into a simple Injection Molding machine that creates bulks of CD/DVD replicates.

The quality of the CD/DVD replication process that is undertaken and the duplicated CD’s depends upon the quality and the authenticity of the glass master's data. During each successive step, the quality and accuracy of the replicated CD’s is consistently regulated to see that each disc is a complete replica or a Xerox of the original CD.

Finally, in the last stage of the process, a flimsy layer of micro-thin aluminium is applied to the lastly produced copy of the polycarbonate disc. This final product is then lacquered for a complete damage and scratch–free protection and the last step is a complete label printing before CD packaging.

Their inventive and the innovative moulding process of a CD replication process is competent enough of creating any kind of a replicated CD design or any custom size and shape that you can think of. The ensuing DVD or CD fits in very securely in any kind of a player tray be it 3 or 5 or 7 multi-CD player tray, even if the size of the CD exceeds 80 millimetres.

CD replication process is an entirely different process where CD’s of any kind can be created be it data CD’s or entertainment CD’s of any kind. In an easy CD replication process, one can get high quality durable CDs in any colour and also get CD’s according to the specifications needed.
