Headline Is Your Everything For Making The Sales! by Edwin Lim If you flip through the newspaper every day, just think for a moment. Have you ever come across a phase that says, "The headline actually yelled..."? This gives you the image of headlines that wrote, "Houses demolished by flood", "Dead dog bodies discovered in water tank, causing water contamination in town" or "Man being shot 6 round and still alive". Do they make you want to read further more about their stories? The purpose of writing headline is, you don't have to report disaster event for attention. Moreover, many people do not wish having "disaster" in the connection with your business, not unless you can fix every disasters. Don't mention that being overly clever and humorous might lead to creating the worse headline ever! The best way to create headline is the direct approach, it always works best. I have put together a step-by-step method to create a winning headline, not just headline that grab attention, but headline that SELLS and make money. 1. Define your targeted niche market. - Who are your targeted audience? - What are the needs of this audience? - Why should they buy from you? Create a USP (Unique Selling Points) for your business. What makes you and your business so special? - Who are the people that would buy from you? Are they marketers, stock brokers, teens, people who seeks spiritual advice, stressful people? - How is your product best fit into this niche? 2. Targeting your targeted niche market. - Communicate directly to your niche audience. Assume they are ready to buy what you are offering for them. - Be specific! Such as: "Angry dads", "Blonde young lady". You have to tell your story and make them know you're talking right to your audience. Be sure to tell the right story to the right niche. For example, stock brokers are not interested in trading magic playing cards with kids. By pinpointing your business down into its essential parts, you'll be very sure that you are reaching the correct audience in your niche to buy their attention. Your prospect will have higher chance to buy from you, if you make them feel that you are talking directly to them and providing solutions to improve their lifestyle and providing them comfort in exchange for their time and dollars. Marketing on the internet, you basically have only one chance to grab someone's attention. It's either they notice or never. If you loose their attention with your headline, you're 99% to fail grabbing their attention to read whatever that is beneath the headline. So it is very important to grab their intention immediate, otherwise, they will never be back again. So make your headline count!
